Dimi Payet is still so incensed with Cristiano Ronaldo he has banned his kids from mentioning the player’s name.

Dimi is still struggling to get over the fact that the French lost the final to Portugal in Paris.

Payet played for 58 minutes and produced a clumsy challenge on the former United player and the sight of him parading around the Stade de France with the trophy at full-time still rankles with Payet.

And he told Sport24: “I have kids, so I can understand the image that footballers have, They are fans of some players, I see in their eyes. They admire and try to imitate their gestures, their words, their celebrations.

“They love Ronaldo and Messi. Since Euro 2016, though, they have no right to pronounce the name of Ronaldo!”

Also called a self-depreciating joke, and a very obvious one at that. Some so-called journalists have been twisting Payet’s joke in order to get views, but what really shocks me is the fact that a West Ham fansite is actually contributing to spreading lies and harming its own player’s reputation.
