West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini has given everybody a huge boost by announcing that Lukasz Fabianski is set to play on Saturday.
In his first prsser of the new season he was asked about the stopper and answered that the team only had one inury – skipper Mark Noble.
He said: “”For the moment we have Mark Noble still injured and won’t be available, but all the other players are fit.”
Clearly delighted with everything that has happened over the past few days the boss is now looking for a much better start to the season than last time adding: “”I hope we won’t start the same way we did last season. We have a tough game against Manchester City, but we are confident in our players.
Good news on Fab as he is critical to the team.
Got a chance against City but Pelle needs to change the system and get bodies in midfield helping out the back four.
Best chance is a 1 nil but we will need to be compact and run all game plus City to need to be below par.
Strange , Dan ; that every time we manage to beat a ( so said ) top six club it’s because they had a poor game and had nothing to do with West Ham having a great game !!
It’s been a mainstay comment from every single pundit that I can remember .
Regardless of the result this coming Saturday all we want to see is the Hammers having a good game and a right good stab at winning . Man City is a massive club with tons of Talent but on our day we have shown ourselves to be tough opponents .
