Pellegrini makes three changes today’s clash

|

Will he …wont he?

Manuel Pellegrini has rung the changes for this afternoon’s game after the disaster of Cardiff and made three changes for the visit of Huddersfield.

Chicharito, Robert Snodgrass and Ryan Fredericks have been dropped in favour of Pablo Zabaleta,  Michail Antnio and Marko Arnautovic – who makes making his first appearance since January 29.

Chicharito has been pretty ineffective over the season and given Marko’s muscular body language it looks entirely the right decision.

Antonio steps in for the Scot who has looked in need of a rest so no complaints there and it is good to see Zaba back after Fredericks was guilty of a poor game last weekend.

It’s about as attacking a side as the boss could put out although I admit some personal disappintment at seeing Samir Nasri confined to the bench.

As predicted, Fabian Balbuena is on the bench while Angelo Ogbonna continues his partnership with Issa Diop.
