Pellegrini’s astonishing line-up

|

How the hell you can think anything other than Pellegrini is looking for the sack after seeing this line up fr tonight’s game.

Back comes Lukasz Fabianski – the one piece of good news – but out goes our most consistent defender, Angelo Ogbonna along with Mark Noble who presumably can’t manage two games in such a short space of time.

Or maybe – with Oggy dropped from the squad entirely for Winston Reid – the conspiracy theorists may believe he’s paying a price for the row between him and Noble who at least is on the bench.

In comes Carlos Sanchez for one of the most important games the manager has ever faced while current man of the moment Michail Antonio is also benched in favour of the predictable and failed one up system which so obsesses this manager.

It’s an astonishing and seriously worrying starting X1 which brings you to the conclusion that he may, just may, have given up and is looking for a pay-off.

  • LJ says:

Cant say I’m to happy but noble was poor and Antonio needs to be managed right 2 games in 2 days and feel will be better coming off bench today.reckon you should have saved this little rant till after…Just in case 😁

  • Spence says:

We’ve just seen Roberto play a more than half decent game against Palace, so why can’t the much maligned Carlos Sanchez put in a more than decent game? I think he will if only ( and I don’t think this is the case), it will increase his value, and prospects for a possible move in the January window. COYI

Our only hope is that the changes made by Leicester may upset their rythmn enough for us to maybe salvage a point from tonight’s game

    PAY-off!?

Well, the 2nd word is certainly “off”……………

We must assume that he considers losing at home to Leicester less important than at home to Bournemouth……

Apart from the Fans, West Ham United is an absolute disgrace……….

As my name suggests, other than academically, I don’t do emotions. If I did, the one I would most feel is ASHAMED…………

I believe the most disturbing thing for me is that this is a game we have to try to win and he reverts back to 1 up top. In my opinion this is the reason he has to be sacked. His stubornism will now cost him his job. I cannot believe he has decided to play Sanchez too. Lose for me he has to be sacked tonight but let me be clear not for Moyes.

  • AD says:

I think it looks a bit more balanced for once… the 2 DCM’s should allow more freedom for full backs and creative midfielders. Worth a try at least?

Obviously Antonio must need the rest but don’t get why Ogbonna gets dropped completely and Noble makes the bench. Although glad Noble and Snodgrass out of first XI in truth.

  • Spencer says:

More rubbish posted on this ‘news site’.

Ogbonna and Noble are both in their 30s and cant play two games in 2 days… which you translate as ‘Pellegrini is trying to get sacked’

  • paul says:

Surely Conor Coventry deserves a chance next to Rice over Sanchez, he is hopeless

  • Del PE. says:

    Agree AD…. Lets hope…. 🀞

  • Hammers64 says:

He has picked this cobbled together team to play what is undoubtedly Leicesters 2nd team.If this ends badly how on earth are the owners going to justify not sacking him TONIGHT.

  • Bucks Hammer says:

Pellets out out out out out and take the three stooges with him but as we know that will never happen

  • Kevin says:

Bye Bye . And don’t close the door behind you . The new manager is waiting in the corridor .

  • Jeffrey Jenner says:

Need a new team team diabolical

  • Hollywood Hammer says:

I think Pelle should explain why He chooses the line up and why He makes the subs He does.We could have won this or at worse gotten a draw.Noble should have started and Sanchez should of stayed on the bench.I have no other words.I am looking for a much needed change of management, along with some fresh blood coming in over the transfer window.I just hope we get a few good signings that can change things up and make a huge impact.

  • slidingtackle says:

    Look at that bench.
No youth, just the tired old failures.
What do the U3’S have to do when the 1st teams are so inept.
