The Hammers play their final game of their pre-season when meeting Angers Sco in Austria on Friday evening in a game which will see Felipe Anderson involved according to the manager.
The French Ligue One side narrowly missed relegation last season, finishing 14th of 16 to narrowly maintain their status which has now run over 23 seasons.
Manuel Pellegrini has suggested Anderson will get some minutes but added that Yarmolenko may miss the game.
He said after last night’s game: “Tonight we played without Javier Hernandez, without Felipe Anderson, without Andriy Yarmolenko, without Cresswell, but these players are working more every day and they will be nearer to their normal performance. We need to work very hard these ten days.
“We will try, if we don’t take any risks, Felipe can play some minutes in the game we are going to play on Friday, but maybe it will be more difficult for Andriy to play.
“We recovered Antonio and Wilshere and they played minutes in every game so I think, for the moment, the pre-season is exactly the way we want it to be.”
Yarmolenko looks ponderous and so maybe he is carrying a knock.

I think it’s more a case of Pellegrini looking at the bigger picture and getting our squad sorted out .
I wouldn’t read too much into it . Probably a few players carrying a knock , but it’s to be expected . If they are only slight knocks everything still looks good for a decent start to the season . Will we surprise Liverpool !! . Maybe . Will we surprise the Premiership , again maybe . But for sure it’s not for want of trying .
