PIC: Cheik a true fans champion

|

cheikTshirtWe reported yesterday (Mon) how Cheik Kouyate spent a long time after the game talking to fans, signing autographs and posing for pictures in Trevor Brooking Lower.

Since then we have received this photo  from follower Robert Daley which is also shown on the ClaretandHugh Facebook forum @https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/.

He told us: “Cheik stayed by the tunnel for a good 10 mins, autographs, selfies, never too much for him, passed his shirt to a young fan, then on his way down the tunnel, took his very sweaty under shirt off and passed it to the young kid next to me. “

Once again we are happy to give it up for our outstanding midfielder who has truly embraced the club and the fans.

Cheik is great, love his style of play & he seems a proper bloke. These guys who have it tough in africa or move when young to europe often living tough lives seem to really appreciate what they have, not like some of the other overpaid tarts we have in the team 😉

Look at the difference a little bit of support for the fans does ,
Maybe BFS should take a leaf out of his book instead of mocking us because he thinks he is superior,
    Great future at the club

On all levels this guy is a great asset for the club.

It’s a shame though that the average modern footballer is such that we think it exceptional when one does spend some time with the fans like this. Imagine if the club made all the players do this. Think about the reputation our club would get if at the end of every game the entire team did this.
