Allardyce hand to earSam Allardyce’s hand to ear gesture as his team were booed off by the fans tonight said it all!

Sam will never be the footballing stylist – we all know that but his attitude is simple and straightforward: “I’m here to win you games.”

Love him or loathe him, this showed a nicely ironic sense of humour!
