harry-kane-tottenham-hotspur-europa-league_3225921Spurs may have been playing a game of bluff and double bluff as they head into tomorrow’s clash against us.

Earlier in the week there were apparenty emphatic reports that Dele Alli woudn’t make it but over the last few days he appears to have made some sort of miraculour near recovery.

Discussing the club’s injury list at his latest presser Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino now seems more hopefu for his and Harry Kane’s prospects.

Starting with the striker he said: “The training during the week was good after he came back from the national team,” “He felt a bit tired because training has been hard from Monday.

“To play 90 minutes? We don’t know because we need to manage the next few games. We have Monaco and then Chelsea and we will see what happens during the game. “But it’s true he’s in a good condition like he was against Arsenal when we decided he could play.”

With Alli, recovering from a knee problem the Spurs manager said:  “We need to assess him. He showed he is in very good condition. We need to analyse if we take a risk or not, or if he is on the bench and we protect him for Tuesday or next week.

Defenders Toby Alderweireld and Ben Davies plus winger Erik Lamela have already been ruled out of the game.
