POLL RESULT: Cresswell or Masuaku for Burnley match?

|

The discussion that’s dominated among Hammers fans for weeks looks to have been settled in the most decisive terms.

Question marks over both Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Cresswell have left the fans seemingly divided over which is the better bet at left back.

But after launching an exclusive ClaretandHugh poll,  Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has been sent the strongest message possible as to the choice he should make for the game against Burnley today.

Masuaku looks to have been made to pay for recent mistakes defensively with Cresswell coming out a clear – indeed overwhelming – choice over the Frenchman.

Our poll posed the simplest possible question on the issue asking which of the two should get the manager’s shout for the game at the London Stadium later this afternoon.

The poll came out in favour of Cresswell with 537 voting in favour of him with just 93 going for Masuaku – a poll result of 85.24 per cent against 14.76 pc.

2 years ago the result would have been the opposite, because everyone was saying that Masuaku’s dribbling made him the better full-back.
Well I’m glad to see that so many have learned by wachting him that he can’t defend to save his life. How long does it take to realise and get him out of our defense for ever? Ogbonna ahould follow closely behind him.

Both?! Yep…. play them both. Masuaku is a winger not a defender, Stevie Wonder would have no problem working that out.
