Poll: What exactly is next level for the Irons?

|

TheĀ  topic in the head of many West Ham fans head for a long time has been that next level for the Hammers?

It has certainly been on our minds for a while and, as as demonstrated by Sean and Hugh’s recent pieces, shows there are at least two different views even in one office.

Some see it as a top four spot, others a top six whilst many believe it is simply being like Everton, a club that never gets relegated.

So what do you think: Top four, top six or free of relegation fears?

    Need another option.

I say top 8 every season, but playing good football on a more consistent bases.

Under the present stewardship, 7-10th every year would be about as good as it gets. We just can’t invest at the levels needed, on a regular basis.

new owners needed who would put there money where there mouth is & only then we could compete with the top 6 but looks like G & S are happy as long as we are not relegated. Man City & Chelsea weren’t big clubs esp in the 70s & 80s always struggled with high attendances but as soon as they come into money there fans turn up unlike West Ham always had averages of 20,000 plus on bad days at the boleyn. In 50 years of supporting our great club I feel now it’s time for the owners to sell up to someone who can make us a joy to watch as this season & the past few at the new stadium it’s been dross & a chore

I feel incredibly sad that so many have such low expectations

I’d say top 8 with a cup win FA or League next seaosn should be our target. Some silverware in my lifetime!
See this rubbish about Genesio as replacement for Pellegrini who I like but they wanted experience he started at Lyon 2 years ago. Good manger but Pellegrini has done fine job, united squad, got David’s to spend, and we could def done better this season but a lot of injuries again & we are most improved team from last season. So its a good start. He said it would be a project.

    But let’s win a CUP
