Pundit sends a “don’t write off the Irons” message

|

Former Liverpool and England striker Michael Owen has sent a “don’t write the Hammers off” to the world at large.

Owen – although admitting the gave a mediocre performance against his former team – reckons the claret and blue army will see a different team against Bournemouth.

Writing in his BetVictor blog Owen seems confident the Hammers are on the up and talks them up in his weekly piece.

He explained: “Manuel Pellegrini will have another week to work with his new signings and I feel we will see a different Hammers’ side against the Cherries who got off to a winning start against Cardiff on Saturday.”

“Expectation has been high for Pellegrini’s Irons and I think it would be folly to write them off after just one – albeit mediocre – performance.”
