Remarkable Hammers times and this tribute is due!

Many may not like the fact but we really do have an awful lot for which to thank David Sullivan.

Much praise, rightly, has been handed out to David Moyes and the new technical director but the bottom line is the club chairman is due great thanks in the good times as he is criticism when things aren’t going so well.

At the time. I recall the late and much loved David Gold telling me that he was bang behind the decision to bring Moyes back to the club.

And since then, following his passing, David Sullivan has refused to budge from his backing for the manager who is now enjoying as successful a period in his managerial career as at any time previously.

At the same time Tim Steidten was head hunted by Sullivan and has done a remarkable job in attracting quality players to the club.

It’s not been an easy period for DS having lost his long time business partner but he has done a remarkable job for this football club regardless.
