Report: Bid tabled for Hammers target

|

French club Nice have made a bid for Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz, according to The Sun.

The Chile international has been identified as a potential target by boss David Moyes, and he remains interested in doing a deal.

However, it appears that the French club have made the first move by tabling an offer worth £8.4m.

Blackburn are aware that they may lose Brereton Diaz this month and there are a clutch of clubs interested in signing the striker.

Along with the Hammers, fellow Premier League clubs Everton and Leeds are also interested in signing Brereton Diaz.

He has scored two goals in three games already this season and it seems as though there is going to be a bidding war in the final few weeks of the transfer window.

The Irons have signed Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo but are desperate for more depth at the top of the pitch.
