Report: Brazilian striker loan could be back on

|

La Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Nicolò Schira claims a deal to land Brazilan striker Gabigol could be back on if West Ham manage to offload Lucas Perez.

Schira who was one of the first to break the story that Samri Nasri would train with West Ham wrote on twitter:

“The West Ham slow down for Gabigol, the Hammers must first yield Lucas Perez. The Brazilian not convinced by the return to Brazil at Flamengo and would prefer to relaunch in Europe”

Earlier today Calciomercato reported that work permit issue had put a deal on hold claiming “Gabigol and his entourage are waiting to know if the Football Association will give him the player a work permit, necessary to play in Premier League.”

Gabigol has been on loan at Santos, having failed to win a starting place at Inter Milan, and the Italian club’s sporting director, Piero Ausilio, said there is no place for the player in the Nerazzurri squad at the moment.
