Transfer update on Chelsea loans

Chelsea will not be loaning out Ruben Loftus Cheek this January.

A  senior West Ham insider has ruled out any chance of him moving to the club this winter.

Loan deals for Danny Drinkwater and/or Gary Cahill both of which have been linked in recent transfer rumours are also extremely unlikely says the Hammers insider who revealed there is likely to be any serious window action for the Hammers this time around.

Contacting us by text he said: “We are told Loftus Cheek not going out on loan. Most of the other rumours are rubbish. We don’t expect much movement in January generally. The manager is happy with his squad, just worried about injuries. We have a full squad.”

Loftus Cheek and Drinkwater have both but been linked for some time with the Hammers but Chelsea manager recently said of Loftus Cheek  “I want him to stay so I think there’s no chance of him leaving”
