Report: Hammer linked with Turkish escape

|

Yarmolenko starred for Ukraine at Euro 2020 this summer, scoring twice, and Fenerbahce want to welcome him to Istanbul for the forthcoming season.  According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, they have sent a bid to West Ham in an effort to acquire Yarmolenko’s services.

Another report from Turkey suggests  Yarmolenko has agreed terms with Fenerbahce.

Turkish website Haber365 claim the 31-year-old Hammer has agreed personal terms with Turkish club.

The Turkish media haven’t got the best record when it comes to transfer rumours so we might need to wait for some more substantial reports.

Yarmolenko scored (two) and assisted (three) five of Ukraine’s seven European Championship goals.

The 31-year-old enters his final year of his West Ham contract with his future under David Moyes this summer unknown.

Many have asked why he can’t show the same form for his club that he demonstrated for his country which others cane the manager doesn’t play to his strengths.
