Jordan Hugill is set to undergo a medical ahead of an expected loan move to QPR from West Ham claims West London Sport
Several clubs are keen on the striker but QPR negotiations with West Ham have progressed claim the website and there is now an expectation that he will move to Loftus Road.
QPR were set to sign Hugill from Preston before the Hammers swopped in with deal worth around £8m.
Hugill spent last season on loan at his hometown club Middlesbrough, making 37 Championship appearances – 17 of them as a substitute – and scoring six goals.
Hugill scored 23 league goals in 103 appearances for Preston, who signed him from Port Vale in 2014.
Under the season-long deal, QPR are expected to contribute £20,000 per week of the strikers £33,000 per week wages with the Hammers picking up the remaining £13,000 per week.
There is not expected to be a loan fee on top of wages so the Hammers will make modest savings of around £1m in wages.
Bill Moyes for the rest !!!!
Good luck to the guy. I genuinely hope he discovers his shooting boots this season & puts himself in the shop window for a transfer. However, with a career record of 1 in 4, I won’t be holding my breath.
