West Ham have been linked with a potential double loan raid on Marseille.
90min reports that the Hammers want to sign two players from the French club: defender Duje Caleta-Car and forward Bamba Dieng. 
We knew of the potential interest in Caleta-Car, as boss David Moyes is very keen to sign a new centre-back before the end of the transfer window.
The deadline comes on Monday and there is an admiration of Caleta-Car from the Hammers.
The Hammers are keen to sign him on loan instead of buying him permanently.
Dieng is something of a new target, though.
He is 21 and is a Senegal international with four caps to his name, and he has scored four goals in 14 games in Ligue 1 thus far this season.
It seems as though the Irons are hoping to bring both players into the club and if loan deals can be struck for the pair, we’d have to say that this could well make sense.

Neither of these are an improvement on what we have, Caleta-Car will be slaughtered by our fans because he has so many mistakes in him and the young kid has only scored 4 goals in the very easy French league. Moyes said he would sign players that would improve the squad.
Dieng is only 21 and seems like one for the future more than the experienced EPL striker West Ham are in need of…. however, he is exactly the kind of player Moyes/Newman have talked about acquiring….
Caleta Carr seems a reasonable buy at £14-15mil. for a left side (Right-footed) Centre back so if he is a loan-2-buy deal, it’s hard to argue against.
This is what our recruitment team have come up, absolute joke is what it is, get rid of Newman etc. Their strategy for this window was so wrong, failed to do their jobs. Car is a very average defender with loads of mistakes in his game. We made a huge mistake in signing a few players in the summer i.e. Kral and Vlasic so Moyes needs to get these calls right but by the looks of it Newman and his team have messed up badly. I would prefer to give Ashby, Baptiste, Alese etc the opportunity to impress than buy average players who will not improve us. When I am at it, and stop playing the likes of Fredericks who is just so bad.
