|

LanzArgentinian journalist Cesar Luis Merlo claims Manuel Lanzini flies to London on Monday to finalize details and sign a one year loan deal with West Ham.

The 22 year old play maker is believed to to have already agreed a loan deal in principle with an option for a permanent transfer  after Stewart Downing’s move to Middlesbrough on Thursday.

He hit eight goals in 24 appearances to help Al Jazira Club in the UAE finish second in the Arabian Gulf League last season.

He  was previously linked with West Ham in the past but the former River Plate star opted for a move to Al Jazira for a fee of around £5.25million.

Still not sure about this one tbh, think we would be better off sitting on our last loan slot for a week or two see which other transfers happen as you never know who may become an option.
Hell what about the likes of Salah at chelski, quality player that has just refused to go back to Italy surely he is a better loan target that an unproven kid that plays in the ass end of nowhere.

Not sure we are restricted on overseas loans MyOldMan. Unless it has changed I think it’s 2 from UK and unlimited overseas but what do I know?

Got a lot of faith the MOM,

There’s a load of players out there that arn’t household names as proved by Samulson, maybe just maybe Slav sees some talent in this kid too, who had heard of Pelle, Tadic or Schneiderlin before they joined the Saints? We have got a manager that knows world football not blinkered towards the North East and West of England have some belief for a change.

I agree GW I want to see this lad just because he decided to put some money in the bank last year, does not make him a bad player,
We wanted him last year,so someone must have watched him and seen something in him,
Very few young Argies play for there country without have good ability,

  • GW says:

To true Bubs the Spuds payed 30 million for one and we can get one on loan who played in the same set up, no brainer for me… Worth a risk in my eyes
