Report: Leeds rivalling Hammers

|

Leeds are in the race to sign Ben Brereton Diaz, according to a new report.

The Hammers are interested in a deal to bring the Blackburn Rovers striker to the London Stadium, as he has been identified as a target alongside Chelsea’s Armando Broja.

Brereton Diaz enjoyed a superb season last term, scoring 22 times, and AS reports that he is waiting for an offer from a big club that would see him move into the Premier League.

The 23-year-old has a contract that expires at the end of this season and both Leeds and the Hammers are said to have asked about his availability.

That does not mean there has been a bid yet but Leeds are looking to replace Raphinha, after selling the Brazilian ace to Barcelona in a deal worth over £50m.

It remains to be seen if the Irons will be sparked into action here, with Brereton Diaz a long-time David Moyes target.

Broja would be a better deal for me .Premier League experience. Probably lives not too far out of London. Bit like Dec.
