Report: Manchester United swap West Ham transfer target

|

Tomas Soucek – a crucial signing

A Daily Star report has suggested that Hammer Tomas Soucek is starting to attract attention from Manchester United’s scouts saying that the West Ham Potato Salad King has been identified as a replacement for Nemanja Matic whose career is coming to an end

The article says they have switched their attention away from Declan Rice instead targeting his 25-year-old Czech international’s partner in crime

Whether this tabloid report is true or not, there is no doubt that Soucek’s form will have many admirers from  Premier League clubs and top European clubs.  Bayern Munich are another club linked with interest in the German press recently.

The defensive midfielder has been in terrific form this season with eights goals to his name, the most of any midfielder in the Premier League excluding penalties.

There will be no doubt unwelcomed enquiries and possibly bids will follow as early as this summer. Let’s hope we can stand firm and prove we are no longer a selling club rejecting any advances.
