Report: Moyes under pressure

|

The Telegraph claims that David Moyes’ job could be in danger if West Ham’s results do not improve.

We have reported on Moyes’ future, insisting that he remains the firm first-choice for the job and that there is no desire to change manager either now or at any point in the future.

There remains a hope that the Hammers’ form will turn around, starting with this weekend’s clash against Wolves, who are 17th, while the Hammers are 18th.

The Times make a similar claim, insisting that there is no current desire to sack Moyes, but there is said to be a feeling that the next four games, following Wolves, could be decisive.

West Ham play sixth-placed Fulham, 14th-placed Southampton, Liverpool, who are currently eighth, and Bournemouth, who are 12th.

There are also two Europa Conference League games against Anderlecht within that run, and Moyes is said to need to show intent of moving up the table.

Moyes’ current contract runs until 2024.
