Fyodor Smolov- very much fancied by West Ham in January – is being reported as a target for REAL MADRID!
The 27 year old Russian scored twice during the 3-3 draw with Spain last month and has found the net six times in his last five games for Krasnodar.
It is widely believed that Krasnador want £15 million for their prize asset and are preparing willing to let him go in their two month winter break from December 10.
Madrid are scouting for forwards who can back up their regular front line of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema so any player who arrives there is likely to be little more than a squad player.
And as a result the Irons hope they convince Smolov that London would be a better stage with the prospect of regular football. Smolov also speaks fluent English.

I think Real have a lot more prestigious targets than this guy, supposedly Griezman is lined up for a switch, would certainly be nice to have another quality striker in the team, London is like little Russia these days so he should settle in well, when he sees DS in his Cossack outfit he will probably sign up right away lol

And if Sakho goes I like this guy bc he is well rounded CF 6’2 27yo can hold up play has pace can link up get in behind run channels & finish.
So he would feel the void & be good partner for Chicharito. Has 14 in 15 for all apps & Country. 9 in 12 in league I believe & 2 assists.
He is hitting his prime & could 3-4 good years out of him if Sakho goes for the £10m like in summer maybe more bc Jan then £5m for him not a bad buy!
But still need some creativity, I’d love Felix Klaus from Hannover 96 we could got him for cheap in summer.
