Sky Sports Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on his website that West Ham are once again back in for Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario following the latest injury news.
His report claims the Hammers are willing to pay the Portugal international’s £2.2 million wages plus £351,000 in commission to his agent to loan him for the remainder of the season. The report claims that an option to buy him in a permanent transfer has also been set at £26.4 million.
However, he goes on to say that David Sullivan is currently holding up the deal as he does not want to pay an additional £1.3million loan fee on top of Mario’s wages to complete the deal.
Discussions and negotiations are continuing says Di Marzio with the hope that a deal could still be completed before the window shuts.
I doubt that sort of ‘change’ would stop the deal, but maybe, just maybe, someones trying it on for a few extra ££££….?
Could easily be true but we do only have the word of a reporter.
Sullivan doing his usal crap….the amount of money he has wasted on bad loans and he is holding it up over 1.3 …Jesus after the news on Manny and Marco u would think he wouldn’t take any chances to mess it up ..but he is that stupid ..ffs
Yes Hammerkip it is Sullivan again.Someone take the damn cheque book off him. LOL
But you’ve got to take the goalposts into account 32 ? 😜
hehe Laz indeed 😛
Let me know when (if) it’s done.
If it’s true it’s hard to believe that a £1.3m loan fee is an issue, we paid £5m to loan Victor Moses and 3.5 I think for Carl Jenkinson, if we are serious about buying the guy at the end of the season it’s hardly worth quibbling about £1.3 for someone that walks into the first team…
