Reported Irons striker target not moving anywhere

|

Bayern Munich striker Sandro Wagner in January has dismissed suggestions that he could be on his way from the club for West Ham or anywhere else in the winter.

The media has been full of speculation that the front man is very much in the eyes of Manuel Pellegrini and Mario Husillos as January approaches.

It’s not entirely certain where the story arose from in the first place beyond the fact that some believe the Irons will be looking for a striker which is unlikely until Andy Carroll has been allowed to prove his point over the next few weeks ( or otherwise of course).

It’s been mentioned many times of course but right now the manager is focused on a left sided back four signing along with a midfielder or perhaps even two but in the meantime Wagner appears to have firmly ruled out all suggestions that he will be on his way from Munich.

He declared: “I have signed my contract in full awareness here for two and a half years and I’m going to go through with that too!

“I’m a guy who gives gas (gives everything). Since the summer I give even more gas, because I just want to have the last years of my career again in full throttle.

“I feel good in Munich. Every time I come to Säbener Straße, I know what I’m doing for it for.”

This is my club, since childhood. That’s why I have no other thoughts.”
