Rice pips Fabianski to top spot

|

Declan Rice pipped Luka Fabianski as the West Ham supporters best rated player against Chelsea at the London Stadium.

The West Ham player ratings completed by over 800 Claret and Hugh readers gave  Rice an average of  8.34 with Fabianski close behind receiving an average of 8.29 with many arguing both could be early contenders for Hammer of the year.

Fans were impressed with Pablo Zabaleta who scored an impressive 7.76 average with new recruit Fabian Balbuena scoring 7.63 and Issa Diop getting 7.51.

Andriy Yarmolenko scored 7.28 despite his miss of a goal scoring opportunity with Mark Noble just behind him on 7.23, Pedro Obiang was the last man in the sevens with a 7.01 average.

Those under seven which Hammers supporters were obviously less impressed with were record signing Felipe Anderson 6.78, Robert Snodgrass 6.61, Michail Antonio 6.35 and Lucas Perez 5.24. Carlos Sanchez played under 10 minutes so his rating was excluded.
