Former Hammer Rio Ferdinand said players should take Slaven Bilic’s comments about training intensity personally and mocked the 5-1 defeat as making the Irons look as though they were taking part in a charity game .
Speaking post match with another former Hammer Ian Wright and presenter Jake Humphrey, Rio told BT Sports viewers: “I would be taking that as a personal insult if I was a player. As as a professional footballer, if your manager is questioning your application in training then that reflects badly on the game.
” I think that what he is saying there is the players are living off last season, they are not putting in the yards in at the training ground. When you put your work in at the training ground you get your rewards out on the pitch. Last season they worked hard against every team. Today was like a charity game.”

I hope they do and anyone who doesn’t want to be here should go in January and then we can get players who want to play.
Payet for example, sell him to PSG and get someone who will work his socks off for the team for a fraction of the monies we would get for Payet.
Come on Slaven sort the chaff from the wheat NOW !!!! OR YOU WILL BE A GONNA BY CHRISTMAS, PLAYER POWER MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO WIN EVER !!!!!!
West Ham deserve better.

Rio is not very bright. It is not an insult if it is true and he implies it is true by saying it looked like a charity game.
