Sam’s Fellaini red card rage

|

Big SamSam Allardyce is convinced Marouane Fellaini should have seen red for his  challenge on James Tomkins during the clash against United on Saturday

Fellaini landed on the defender’s leg as they went for a 50-50 ball.

And West Ham boss Allardyce said: “I thought Fellaini was lucky not to get sent off.

But he admitted he wasn’t sure if ref Lee Mason was properly positioned to see the incident

He said: “Probably… and that’s why if he’s got any doubt he can’t give it. They’ve got to be good enough to spot it. That’s what their job is.”

Allardyce also felt Wayne Rooney pushed Tomkins before firing home his extraordinary volley to beat off his line keeper Adrian.
