Gianluca Scamacca looks set to face his club skipper in England’s game against Italy this evening.

The Italian striker – who has had a difficult start to his Hammers career – will be looking to make a big splash should he confront Declan Rice.

Whether he has played sufficient games to gain a starting place remains to be seen but it would be a surprise if he doesn’t feature at at some point.

Italy boss Roberto Mancini said recently he has few options up front and that the Hammers front man would need minutes for his club to get up to speed.

The 23 year old was then picked for the second leg game European Conference game against Larnaca, scored and looked in good form after his lay off.

So it seems more than likely he will get his chance tonight with Declan a big text for him as his international team looks for a win.
