- Nayef Aguerd’s Potential Switch to Lyon. Nayef Aguerd, a crucial part of our defensive line-up, is reportedly contemplating a move to Lyon. West Ham have a good relationship with the French club but I doubt they could afford him.
- Benrahma’s January Exit Demand. Said Benrahma, the talented yet frustrating winger, is making headlines with reports of his desire to leave West Ham United in the upcoming January transfer window. Lyon have expressed interest in acquiring his services. If West Ham can recoup half the outlay it might be best to let him go.
- Downes staying put. Flynn Downes is expected to complete a £14 move to Southampton at the end of the season.
- Fabrizio Romano’s Insight on West Ham’s Transfer Activity. The ever-reliable transfer insider, Fabrizio Romano, has hinted at a busy transfer window for West Ham. The club’s plans include both incoming and outgoing moves. Romano has good links with Tim Steidten so we’ll keep you posted.
- Ian Maatsen Linked to West Ham. The transfer radar has shifted to Ian Maatsen, with reports suggesting that West Ham are considering a January move for the Chelsea player. Maatsen, seeking more playing time, has been a regular substitute for Chlelsea who I doubt will be keen to allow him to leave.
- Bournemouth’s Stance on Dominic Solanke. Bournemouth are set to rebuff any January offer from West Ham for striker Dominic Solanke. Despite a previous approach in the summer transfer window, the Hammers’ interest in the former Chelsea and Liverpool front-man remains strong.
