Slav planning for next season

bilic_main_3437996b-large_transpjliwavx4cowfcaekesb3kvxit-lggwcwqwla_rxju8Slaven Bilic has made it clear he is getting with the business of planning for next season.

Amid all the speculation over his future the boss and his backroom staff continue to plan the Hammers way forward into the third year of his contract.

He said: “We are always planning for next season, of course. At the moment it is all about Sunderland but we are talking about next season on a daily basis.

“And yes of course I discuss next season with the board.”

He brushed off suggestions that he was concerned about other names being linked with his job – notably Fulham chief coach Slavisa Jokonovic.

He said: “I know him and I like him but my position is the same now as it was last year, these are things that simply get mentioned. I am concentrating on what I do.”
