Slavia president hints at formal Irons tie-up

|

Slavia Prague’s president Jaroslav Tyrdik has suggested that a long term relationship with West Ham could be on the cards in the future.

It seems the very close relationship between

the two clubs could go further following the hugely successful switches of Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal.

Tyrdik is regularly outspoken on social media and was even moved to correct a report of ours that the club wanted £40 million for on fire striker Abdallah Sima.

Our own sources had confirmed that to be the case but hopefully the president’s denial means that he could come cheaper! 🙂

We’re glad he takes us seriously enough to be moved to comment!

We have also been linked with goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar and with the hugely well regarded Soucek at our club, we appear to be in a very strong position with the Czech outfit.

A tie-up with the club would almost certainly include first refusal on players and the opportunity of giving experience to the ir younger players in the under 23s and under 18s.

“Thousands of West Ham fans write to me on Twitter without exaggeration,” the president told O2 TV Sport.

“They’re asking when Sima or Kolar are coming, They feel they should have a pre-purchase right. But that’s not the situation, we don’t have a partnership. “Maybe we’ll get there in time.”

I wonder if we coild send Winston Reid their way as a gesture of good fzith. He’s better than just a championship loanee and woild have an impact for Slavia Prague. Might be a good all round move.

It would definitely be exciting to team up with a Champions League team that have proven to have a brilliant youth set up, as we are passionate about developing youth this sounds on paper like a brilliant option.
