Smalling forms Payet view on what he’s HEARD!

|

diverThree days on and the great Dimi Payet penalty debate continues with Manchester United’s Chris Smalling offering his predictable opinion on the matter.

It’s a very long time since a West Ham player attracted so much publicity which demonstrates the effect Dimi is having on the League and Cup.

However, there’s not many who would disagree we could have done without all this after a match which we justifiably should have come out of as winners – given the United equaliser which of course should never have stood.

It’s also of no surprise that neither Louis Van Gaal or Smalling seem particularly interested in  discussing that rather more important matter – choosing instead the ground which supports their moans and groans the best!

Thank God that in Slaven Bilic we have a manager who refuses to get involved in such undignified stuff.

For the record here’s what the central defender had to say and what’s particularly interesting is that he doesn’t appear to have seen the incident.

He said:  “I’ve heard  (our italics) “there was no contact and, to be fair, it should have been another yellow card. “There are many decisions in a game and it’s one that didn’t go our way.”

“I think if they’re not going to give a penalty, then it’s got to be diving really, hasn’t it? It’s frustrating for us and obviously they punished us with a very good free-kick.

“I think, more often than not, if you dive you do get a yellow card. Obviously on this occasion it didn’t happen.”

Yes and given that on this occasion you have no dea Mr Smalling given that apparetntly you haven’t taken the trouble to take a look at the incident, it may be best to keep it zipped.

A few years ago I heard Chris Smalling was the next great defender who would lead Manure and England to future greatness,
Since then I have had my hearing checked a few times and no nothing wrong with my hearing
So it must have been just another load of horse crap blowing in the wind,
Unless you know something for certain and want to join in the discussion and just not blowing Bullchite up Van Gall backside
Zip it and try and improve your football ability which is what you are paid to do because it’s Fraud claiming wages for not providing the service TWOT

I’ve always had the same opinion, people who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Maybe manure should take a look at a certain Ashley Young & his conduct. There is a player who dives everytime he gets anywhere near the goal.
Have a look at every single game & you will see players dropping like they have been shot by a sniper if they feel the slightest touch.
Did Payet go down too easy? Yes he prob did but no more than every other would do & have been told to do so by the manager.

First off, how can you comment on something you have not seen. Smalling , you are just jumping on the bandwagon, funny how there is no comment from him re Sweinsteigers push on Randolph.
Now Payet, he was in a goalscoring position had he been able to stay on his feet and he loves scoring. I was right in front of the incident, high up I admit, but in a great position to see the incident. The linesman on that side of the pitch had no confidence in his own ability, watch the game and see how many times he looks at the Ref before giving a decision even on clear cut throwins.
It should have been a penalty and their goal should have been disallowed.
We will redress this at the Boleyn. COYI

I said the same thing about the lino iron, he was clearly told not to make any decisions on his own back ? Why , because its manure and the ref has to keep the scum in every contest they play in and not give the deserved outcome of such play . Mark my words the ref would have give it to the mancs and blown for a foul on degay , simple , its called cheating in many parts of the world but not in Manchester , or Liverpool ?
That’s why he never got a yellow for diving cos it was a foul and the ref bottled it !!
I made a comment before the game about who was going to ref the game as with hind site I already knew there would be a few dodgy decisions , and I will say it again, who is going to ref the replay ?? Don’t hold you’re breath cos I guarantee it will be dodgy one ! After all , we can’t eliminate the country’s reps can we , I mean they need European football and someone will give it to them if they can ? I hope we rip the mugs to shreds at the old girl and keep them out of Europe ! What a blow to achieve that !! COUI!!!!S .

How can anyone make a judgment on such a tight decision based on hearsay bemuses me .How many times have i heard pundits state ” oh that was clever , he felt the touch and went down and got the penalty ” usually when it involves a player from the established top four ?
I have lost count over the amount of times we have been the victim of such tactics over the years . Now if Howard Webb thinks it should have been given having looked at the replay
then who is Smalling to say it shouldn’t based on hearsay ? If the ref , based on what he saw in real time ,can’t be sure , he is right not to give it but by the same token he can’t say it was a dive either . I have seen many of those type of penalty decisions given over the years , often to Man Utd as it happens . Lets murder them in the replay ! COYI .

Remember lads it takes a little bit of intelligence to think before the gob kicks in
We should ask him questions first like is Alaska a country,
Then you know how to treat them
If the answer is yes then you know Very Low Intelligence
Any other answer like can you repeat the question
    I don’t know
We give the benifit of the doubt
    Smalling would probably say I don’t understand can I as k a friend ( Van Gall )
He would say I will look in my portfolio and reply it was not a long ball,
    What a load of Dicks

**** player in a **** team. The fact that he plays for England is a ****ing shambles. No fears about the replay. Gutted we didn’t take them on the day.
Not talking about the blatant foul on randie are they? How do they think he took up a goalkeeping position in the back of the net lying down?

  • whitehp says:

Payet was half way down before the touch which was a result of the defender dropping to his knees instead of making the expected challenge. Was it a dive, yes in my opinion, but was exactly what any other attacking player would have done. Do I like it, no, but it’s par for the course nowadays.

Said it once. Will say it once more. Even if they pretend not to see the foul on Randolph why did they not give offside? Schweinhundt was standing slap bang in the middle of the goal on the goal line. How can he not be interfering?
