Snoddy gets thumbs-up from Pelle

|

Manuel Pellegrini has declared himself very happy for Robert Snodgrass.

Despite the indifferent start to the Premier League, Snoddy has been in fine form and can count his return to the club something of a triumph.

And the manager made it clear he is doing all that’s required of him when saying: “When you have a chance to play you must demonstrate why you are playing.

“He is doing very well and I am happy for him.

“I am not surprised [how well he is doing] because I worked here for three years before and I saw him at Norwich, and saw what he did last season at Aston Villa.

“I know him as a player; after that it depends on the performance of the player. He started his pre-season with us, he did very well, now he is working, he is playing and now he must try to stay in the starting XI.”
