Song heads for warm-up match

|

Song-edited1_3197599Alex Song will return to Hammers action after the international break.

But in the meantime the midfielder is set to play in a ‘get fit’ friendly against Chelsea next week against Charlton.

Manager Slaven Bilic revealed: “Song started training before Watford and he’s been with us for one week now.”

“He’s okay, there’s no problem whatsoever, he’s injury-free and now it’s a matter of fitness and match-fitness.

“We have a friendly game on Wednesday which he will play in and hopefully he’s going to be fit soon.”

So no bench this week then, probably for the best. There really is no rush.

Gives our new captain one more week,
Hope Obiang plays this week to stop Barkley controlling the game,
Just hope he brings his A game with him not the rubbish he produced at the end of the season
