Soucek looks set for photo finish

|

Tomas Soucek is set to lead the Czech Republic into another vital World Cup qualifying game tonight.

After the team’s 2-2 draw with Wales last week hr will be desperate for a win against bottom of the table Belarus.

Currently the Czechs lie in second place in Grou E with eight points whilst Wales, with a game in hand, hold third place.

They take on second off bottom Estonia and it looks certain that the battle for qualification will go down to a photo finish with Belgium way out on top of the group with 16 points from six games.

England continue their campaign with a home fixture against Hungary tomorrow evening and it will be interesting to see whether Declan starts after missing the formality game against Andorra.

He looks cetain to be in the squad but probably the majority of Hammers fans will be keeping their fingers crossed that manager Gareth Southgate decides to give the defensive midfielder another night off!
