Start Me Up – the Stones hit Hammers home

|

So it’s all been a bit unexciting at the London Stadium this season eh?

Well that’s gonna change a bit on the night of May 22 when a certain group of old men will show West Ham fans how to rock the place.

I’ll be bang in there as my heroes – notably the amazing Keith Richard – rip it up at our home – the London Stadium.

Now well into their 70s the Rolling Stones are back in Britain and kicking off a UK tour with an opening gig at the Hammers home.

The greatest rock n roll band in the world will be giving it all their amazing best as they head up a concert which is what rock n roll has, and always will be, about.

I know the Hammers will survive this season and this will be a beyond perfect celebration for a guy who has followed and loved this band throughout their career.

After a period of great personal sadness over the last few days suddenly a big smile passed across my features with news of the gig.

I’m often asked which is my greatest love, The Hammers or The Stones – all I can say in the Stones have never let me down! 🙂
