Striker gives no hint on Irons interest

|

Gabriel Barbosa is refusing to discuss his future despite intense interest from West Ham.

The 23 year old has been on the Irons agenda for several weeks and could be the suject of an £18 million bis in the transfer window.

But with keen interest from his loan club Flamengo, the Inter Milan striker is refusing to be drawn on where he is likely to end up this winter.

He was asked after the defeat in the World Club Championship against Liverpool but was in no mood to expand on his feelings at all although it’s believed he favours a move back to Europe.

But his cards remain closed to his chest saying only he will take some time to himself in the aftermath of a tough defeat before divulging the details of his future.

He officially returns to Inter on January 1, and as such will be eligible for a transfer when the European window opens.
