Striker target on the move

|

Eddie Nketiah is set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season, according to a new report in The Sun.

The Hammers have been linked with a potential move to sign the Gunners star in either January or the summer, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

That means he will be available on a free transfer, and The Sun now reports that he has set his sights on a potential move to Germany and a bumper payday at the end of the season.

Crystal Palace remain interested in a potential swoop, but the 22-year-old’s camp are hoping to engineer a move to the German top-flight.

Nketiah has struggled for minutes this season and has only played three times in the Premier League but he has scored five times in the EFL Cup, including a hat-trick against Sunderland in midweek.

It remains to be seen if the Irons will look to rival them in the January window.
