Sullivan and Steidten show business is done

Sullivan watches from the directors’ box

Both David Sullivan and Tim Steidten were at the game tonight suggesting that the Hammers deadline day business has been done.

Sullivan was seen in the directors box rather than at home doing late business whilst our picture from Sean Whetstone shows Moyes and the technical director together before the game.

It means of course that our one arrival – unless others were done before the two men left for the gameĀ  – has been done with the single arrival of Kalvin Phillips.

Hopes that Ibrahim Osoman may be a late arrival after the confusion earlier in the week has not materialised.

Hopefully we will see Lucas Paqueta back for the game at Old Trafford this week after his injury and we understand that he is close.

However, he hasn’t been on the training ground sufficiently regularly this week to believe he will play a part with his next appearance presumably coming against Arsenal next weekend.

It seems that this transfer window has been a complete fiasco, with the possible exception of the signing of Phillips (not a great start for him).
Why did the “transfer committee” leave it all so late? Could it be that they couldn’t agree on anything?

Laughing stock of Europe . No intention of signing anyone . Club run like a market stall by half wits . Embarrassed to be a supporter . Doubt there is a club in Europe that will ever do business with us . Would you in their place ??
