David Sullivan – like Slaven Bilic – would like to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic to West Ham but nether are sure whether he could be tempted.
Bilic – whilst admitting earlier he would like the 34 year old at the club – added that he didn’t believe a player of that kind was likely to join West Ham at this stage.
He said a couple of weeks back: “‘If he leaves Paris, I don’t know where he is going to go, but I can’t see him leaving for West Ham.
The Hammers are determined to bring in a big hitting striker and Sullivan appears to still be hankering after the PSG hitman who can leave the French club on a free this summer.
He explained to talkSPORT: “We have a list of strikers all over Europe and most of our money will go into signing a striker. That is the plan for next season.
“I’d love Ibrahimovic from PSG but whether he’d come to us I don’t know. I know he’s 34 and he’s a fantastic player.”
given the experience of this season,a minimum of three-four quality reinforcements…what Dave does:,seems to me that he distances in advance from an idea that someone capital could come..
Age, money and desire are the three words that come to mind.Like bubs always says there is better value in the Premier League & Championship without mortgaging the farm.
I have to admit Ibra is one of my favourite players, he’s a winner and he changes the balance of a team. But he’s 34 and given his huge salary, perhaps it’s better to let it drop (but with a heavy heart). 😉
