David Sullivan has paid tribute to his great friend David Gest who died unexpectedly in a Docklands Hotel at just 62 years old.
As we reported earlier Gest was a guest of David Sullivan and Vanessa Gold in the directors box less than two weeks ago during the West Ham v Crystal Palace match.
One of his last tweets was to thank DS and Vanessa for their hospitality at the Boleyn ground: Gest tweeted from the West Ham boardroom “Thanks Vanessa and thanks David Sullivan for the invite. Great to see Danny Dyer and his daughter enjoying the game!”
And this morning DS told ClaretandHugh: “Lovely man, he was my personal guest at the Palace game. I loved his annual Soul tours and saw the last one at Doncaster.”
“I love classic soul music and his tours always included some real legends. He was Mr Showbiz and a really wonderful person who also did so much for charity. He’ll be greatly missed by so many.”
Lol,just been on a Sunderland forum to see how the unlucky sods are feeling with Hippo. They are close to suicidal, lol.Complaining about Hoofball & Hippo being clueless apart from launching it long,Lmao. If feel so happy to have Slav, makes me appreciate him all the more when I remember the feelings they have now,lol 🙂
Yeah the lads from the NE won’t put up with his bs for long. They won’t still be kissing his ass & worshipping him like some of our soft fans still do & tell us we should be grateful for what he did.
