Sunderland fans vote Allardyce in local poll

|

Sunderland fans want Sam Allardyce as their next permanent boss.

Local newspaper The Chronicle yesterday asked Mackems who they wanted to take over from Gus Poyet next season providing a list of 12 possible bosses.

More than 300 voted and there is the same obstacle facing him there as he has been experiencing at Upton Park according to the paper.

It says his style is unlikely to fit the vision of a head coach Sporting Director Lee Congerton.

Allardyce had 19.3% of the vote, Michael Laudrup 18.6% and temporary  boss Advocaat 3.9%.
