West Ham will be looking to use the Declan Rice fee to make some successful forays in the transfer market in order to boost our squad.
One of the latest players the Irons are interested in, is the 19 year old midfielder Alex Scott , currently plying his trade at Bristol City.
According to transfermarkt, he has a current valuation of £26 million and has already attracted some suitors for a guy dubbed the “Bristol Jack Grealish”
According to Fbref , Scott is in the top six players of the Championship in aerial challenges, blocks and tackles so it is hardly surprising there is interest in him.
It is inevitable that Nigel Pearson, the Bristol City manager will want to keep him but the possibility of European football and the chance of playing in the Premier League will certainly turn his head.
Nevertheless, we must tread carefully in the transfer market as we do need to build a bigger squad to allow us to cope with life in the Premier League and our Europa League adventure.
