The weekend prediction game starts here

|

Mark Lawrenson has found some easy reasons to avoid tipping the Irons for a win against Bournemouth tomorrow (Saturday).

He bases his prediction on last weeks performance at Liverpool declaring: “I was at Anfield on Sunday  and they (West Ham)  were far too open.

New Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has bought a lot of attacking players and probably wants to play in a way that gives his side’s fans something to get excited about.

But if they are going to keep leaving the back door open like that all season, they are going to be in trouble.

If Pellegrini had set up in 4-5-1 and sat deep, I would have understood, but Liverpool carved them open almost at will – and the scoreline could have been a lot worse.

Bournemouth are not a team I consider to be one of the strongest on the road, but they always pick up some decent away points and I quite fancy them to get something here.”

Lawro’s prediction: 1-1

Lets prove him wrong, I will take any kind of win with some good offensive play and an improved defensive performance.

We need to prove him wrong , 32 ; because if we don’t win there will be some heavy nasty stuff hitting the fan . We are rooted to the bottom of the league and a loss of another three points will see us once again in that *****ly situation of having to look up the table yet again.
Lawrenson did make some valid points and he is right imo . Pelligrini needs to sort it out sharpish to avoid a very embarrasing backlash .

I feel it mate but, even if the worst happens Pelle has to stick to his guns, he knows his system works the players just have to execute what they do in training on the pitch, its a painful process, if you can remember Fergie at Utd every 4 years would completely refresh the team, pretty much write off a season where he was bedding a new crop of players in, this for me is not dissimilar at first and maybe even for a sustained period we will struggle as we come to terms with the style but at some point it will click into place and then we will genuinely be a threat to all teams COYI !!!
