This could be a big night for Nathan Holland

|

Nathan Holland has every reason to hope that he will catch the boss’s eye after recent performances by Felipe Anderson.

And I’m hoping Senor Pellegrini is making the trip to Stoke tonight to cast another eye over the lad given we have heard nothing about injuries to the left winger.

Nathan has been seen as the next big West Ham thing since before Grady Diangana made his first team breakthrough.

And although he showed bright form in the Oxford humiliation he had little chance to shine in what was effectively the Irons second team that night.

This evening, hopefully, he will continue the sparkling form he has been showing for the U23s and give himself a chance of making the first team squad for Saturday.

He obviously can’t expect to start should but given Anderson’s hit and miss form, he should perhaps be seen as alternative off the bench should that be required against Sheffield United..

The match kicks off at 7pm in theĀ  Bet 365 Stadium.
