Three changes for Irons

|

Hammers boss David Moyes has made three changes to his team for the clash with Newcastle on Saturday.

The early kick-off gets underway at 12:30pm in the UK and Moyes has made some telling changes to his team after last week’s 2-2 draw with Leicester.

Vlad Coufal has been dropped and replaced by Ryan Fredericks at right-back, while Issa Diop makes way for the fit-again Kurt Zouma and Said Benrahma comes in for Manuel Lanzini.

The rest of the team, of course, has a familiar look; Lukasz Fabianski starts in goal, Craig Dawson joins Zouma in central defence and Aaron Cresswell plays at left-back; Declan Rice is partnered by Tomas Soucek in midfield; Jarrod Bowen and Pablo Fornals join Benrahma in providing support to Mikey Antonio.

Newcastle, by comparison, only have two of their January signings in the team, with Dan Burn and Matt Targett starting; Bruno Guimaraes is on the bench and Kieran Trippier is injured. Allan Saint-Maximin also misses out completely.

Full West Ham XI: Fabianski; Fredericks, Dawson, Zouma, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Benrahma, Fornals; Antonio. Subs: Areola, Alese, Diop, Johnson, Noble, Kral, Chesters, Vlasic, Yarmolenko.

Full Newcastle XI: Dubravka; Krafth, Schar, Burn, Targett; Shelvey, Willock, Joelinton; Fraser, Wood, Murphy. Subs: Darlow, Lascelles, Dummett, Fernandez, De Bolle, Almiron, Longstaff, Bruno Guimaraes, Gayle.
