Tottenham knock-back could lead to bid for second Hammer – report

West Ham fans have not yet got over the mental anguish of seeing one their prized assets sold to the arch enemy – yet here comes a report from a Spurs – facing site claiming that the Spuds will be casting covetous eyes over another of West Ham’s talented top players.

For reassurance, however, that there is more chance of West Ham signing a striker than this deal coming together, you need look no further than the price suggested for the individual concerned. Spurs-web.com claim that, having lost out in their attempts to sign Morgan Gibbs-White who sensibly ignored Tottenham’s approaches and re-signed with Forest, the Spuds are now casting around for a playmaker and seem to believe they can sign West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta– for thirty million quid.

Obviously the Daily Mail readers in north London have taken the newspaper’s daft suggestion to heart that Paqueta could be available for £30 million: The same report was rubbished by West Ham yesterday as we reported.

Good luck with Mohammed ‘Judas’ Kudus, Spurs fans. You’ve more chance of winning the Champions League than prising Lucas Paquetá from West Ham’s grasp for thirty million quid.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days - sometimes- have to admit I have not renewed my season ticket... I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970..
Favourite player - Dean Ashton: Still watch YouTube repeats of the Cup Final of 2006 hoping in vain that Shaka Hislop grows six inches and stops Steven Gerrard's injury time equaliser. Can tell I'm getting old knowing I saw both Mark Noble's debut and his last game at West Ham.
Pulling on a Claret and Blue replica shirt still makes me feel the same butterflies as when I was seven years old. Magic.

Kudus a Judas, I really don’t think he deserves to be talked about like that, it’s not clever or funny, we all know he was not being utilised at West Ham, he knew he wasn’t going anywhere with us and got out for his own good ( he won’t be the last ) I wish him well , he is a very good player who I’m sure will give his all for Spurs, he was wasted with us as players often are .🙏

I’d suggest it would not happen unless Sulley wants the fans turn up with pitch forks and flaming torches
