West Ham’s summer exodus is gathering pace, and the departures of Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes have done little to slow the churn.
In fact, several more players are already edging toward the exit, with one well‑placed source confirming that Niclas Füllkrug is now training alone, away from the main squad.
Füllkrug, remember, wasn’t included even as a substitute in West Ham’s Stevenage friendly and is expected to leave within the next seven to ten days, with the club preparing for his departure as a near‑certainty.
Back in training but exit bound any day
The situation surrounding Edson Álvarez is equally clear‑cut. The midfielder has made it known that he wants to move on, and West Ham are now working on a loan deal that would allow him to do exactly that. His exit appears inevitable, with both player and club aligned on the need for a fresh start.
More complicated is the case of Jean‑Clair Todibo. No firm offers have been submitted, but the relationship between the defender and Nuno has deteriorated to the point of no return.
Todibo has stated he will not play for the manager again, and Nuno has responded by making it clear he will not select the centre‑back under any circumstances. As a result, a loan with an obligation to buy is emerging as the most realistic and mutually beneficial solution, giving the club a guaranteed future fee while allowing the player to move on immediately
If all three players depart as expected, West Ham’s tally of summer exits will rise to nine. That scale of turnover leaves Nils Koppen facing a significant rebuild, with the squad thinning rapidly and reinforcements now urgently required to stabilise the dressing room and prepare for the season ahead.

They all have a bad attitude, terrible temperament and all believe they are much better than they actually are .

What is more indicative of problems down the road is Nuno’s constant battles with players. Not so long ago you almost never heard of rebellious players, but at West Ham, this last year or so, it has been constant. If Nuno does not learn how to keep players in line and focused, it is going to happen again and there is nothing more disruptive to team harmony. That is why we are where we are.
Summerville and Fernandez are the only ones who really played last season, the others either weren’t there already or were atrocious and hardly played.
I think you are talking up a story a bit.
our squad without those players is still the largest and strongest in the league, or are the excuses being pulled together already.

It’s a good thing put in a loan with obligation to buy after 10 appearances and they should move on. jCT is still being seen in training so am not quite so sure that relationship can’t be changed but who knows ?
A rebuild is needed to change the style and balance in the team, we need pace which ironically JCT, AWB and to some degree Alvarez have and if we lose Diouf that’s another one.
We may get away with it in the Championship but it will kill us in the PL if we go up, so all new signings should have that and athleticism. I can’t believe there aren’t great players in lower leagues abroad that we can’t sign and for whom we would provide that opportunity to get into the PL.
We have so far spent £1m and brought in £140-150m sell Fullkrug, Todibo,AWB and Diouf and that should be well over the £200m mark and we still have a squad that can potentially win the championship without any incoming players.
If I was DK and couldn’t buy who I want this summer I would save the money until January and if we are top of the league or close go on a big spend to buy the players for the PL then.
Alvarez pace? You must be joking. Get rid. For cash, not a loan.
Nothing new in these circumstances and whu should have already planned for these exits.
With Summerville going need left winger with pace and can score at least 15 goals.
Nuno managed to win league with Wolves scoring 82 goals and only conceding 39.
15 from Taty, 18 from Bowen and 10 from Mavro leaving balance of 40. Giving Nuno record 100pts.
Left wing_15, Striker_15, Miscellaneous 10 need to get replacements capable of obtaining these results.
Marvo partnered with equivalent to Disarsi to keep incoming goals down to 40.
Will academy be able to cover loss of Fernandes?
Nils Koppen’s concentration will be on building the squad to Nuno’s requirements rather than worrying about the others outside the plans.
Fullkrug, Alvarez, Todibo et al will sort themselves out. They are not of any concern to Nils.
