Travel chaos for thousands of Hammers on Saturday

Greater Anglia trains have warned West Ham supporters about a number of travel challenges facing them on their way to watch West Ham v Burnley at the London Stadium on Saturday due to planned engineering works.

The match also co-insides with a one-day South Western Railway (SWR) strike will affect many routes on Saturday 3 November. A reduced service will run on most of the South Western Railway network. Some routes will not have a train service or a replacement bus service and engineering works may also affect passenger journeys.  Action will apply across the network and impact journeys into London terminating at Waterloo,

Large parts of the London Underground will also face partial closures this weekend.

There will be no service on the district line between South Kensington and East Ham. Replacement buses operate.

For the Hammersmith and City line, no service will run between Baker Street and Barking.
